MC Hai Trieu tries his hand at being the general director of Miss Ocean Vietnam

The final round of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 will take place from August 1 to 10 in Vinh Hy Bay. This is a beauty contest that not only emphasizes the beauty and depth of knowledge but also the girls' ability to inspire and their spirit of action for the community.

Accompanying the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 Contest, MC Hai Trieu was "chosen" as the program's general director. Previously, the multi-talented young man born in 1995 made an impression when he won the Silver Swallow 2019. He also tried his hand at the film industry, recently participating in the movie "The Game of Fame" and releasing the book "What to say to make students happy?".

Hai Trieu shared that since he was a student, he has participated in running school activities. At the Golden Microphone contest, he had the opportunity to get closer to the role of director and most recently was assigned the role of general director at the World Tourism Mister contest. For Hai Trieu, this is an opportunity for him to learn and renew himself every day.

“Every profession requires learning. I have studied and taught subjects related to cinema and theater. Luckily, I spent time working on stage and participating in programs of Ho Chi Minh City Television, so I learned a lot of professional experience. I was quite worried but also received support from the crew to confidently do well in this role,” Hai Trieu expressed.

The experience in the role of director is considered a milestone marking Hai Trieu's maturity in his career. However, along with this honor, the handsome MC also faces a lot of pressure.

He admitted: “Working with a team that has a lot of experience and is older than me is a big challenge. Moreover, this is not the first time the competition has been held, so the audience can easily compare it with the previous season. I am new to the field so I don’t have much experience, requiring myself to learn and improve to complete the assigned tasks well.”

For the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 contest, Hai Trieu and his team aimed for a blue-toned concept, reminiscent of the ocean. This year, the final round of this beauty pageant was held in Vinh Hy during a romantic sunset moment, different from the beauty of the dawn in the previous contest season, so from the format to the music, a new approach was chosen to bring a unique highlight, helping the contestants show off their personality and color.

Hai Trieu also said that he has proposed backup plans to ensure that the final night of the competition, held in a marine environment, can take place as smoothly as possible.

Sharing the reason for choosing Hai Trieu as the general director of Miss Ocean Vietnam, designer Vo Viet Chung - founder and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest affirmed that this was a strategic decision, showing the desire not to follow the old path but to breathe new life into the contest.

“We chose Hai Trieu not only because he is a new face, but also because we see in him a deep understanding of culture, performing arts, and especially a breakthrough creative mindset. He is an academic, has experience studying art abroad, and has been an art advisor for many television and stage projects with Vietnamese cultural values. We believe that the combination of a young team and the experience of veteran advisors will create a memorable season,” emphasized designer Vo Viet Chung.
