Soil moisture models show that many areas in communes of Ham Yen, Na Hang, Chiem Hoa, Lam Binh, Yen Son, Son Duong districts and Tuyen Quang city are at a state of saturation of over 80% or have reached saturation.
In the next 6 hours, in the above areas, there will be thunderstorms with a high possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind; heavy rain is likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on hillsides, mountains and steep slopes; landslides at construction sites and roads under construction in the whole province.
To proactively respond and minimize damage, the province requires the People's Committees of districts, cities, units and functional agencies to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts of natural disasters and weather to promptly and regularly notify and guide authorities at all levels and people to proactively prevent and minimize damage.
Deploy shock troops to inspect and review residential areas along rivers, streams, and low-lying areas at high risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to proactively organize the evacuation of people when situations arise. Strengthen information work, disseminate instructions to people on how to recognize and respond to thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, flash floods, and landslides to minimize damage.

Previously, on June 21, heavy rain in Tuyen Quang province flooded 16 houses of people in Thuong Lam commune, Lam Binh district, causing mud to flow into the houses, causing damage to property inside.
Many inter-commune and district roads in Lam Binh district were affected by landslides and rocks, causing traffic jams. Many sections of National Highway 2 passing through the province were flooded, making traffic difficult.
