Mercedes-Benz GLS 2025 from 5.5 billion VND deposit received in Vietnam

Some Mercedes-Benz dealers in Vietnam have started accepting deposits for the 2025 GLS 450 4MATIC SUV, although the German automaker has not yet announced official information.

This is the mid-life upgrade of the GLS large SUV line, which was introduced at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) in March this year. According to sales consultants at some dealers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the first batch of new Mercedes-Benz GLS 2025 cars will arrive in Vietnam in very limited quantities.

The first version to be sold is the GLS 450 4MATIC. The expected price of the Mercedes-Benz GLS 2025 for the GLS 450 2025 is about 5.5 billion VND, slightly higher than the current GLS 450 version (5.389 billion VND) currently announced on the official website.

Overall, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC SUV does not have many design changes, but some exterior details have been refreshed to give it a more modern look. The front of the car impresses with a wide 4-bar grille, along with a redesigned front bumper and LED taillights with new lighting graphics.

The 20-inch wheel will have more design options, but it is not clear whether the version in Vietnam will use 5-spoke, multi-spoke wheels or keep the 5-star style like the current version. The interior space of the car has no major changes in layout. The 2025 GLS 450 version still maintains the 7-seat configuration with a cluster of two digital screens placed in one block behind the steering wheel.

The new point lies in the steering wheel design, while the MBUX entertainment system will be upgraded, promising to bring a more intuitive and flexible experience. The mid-life upgraded version of the GLS 450 is still equipped with a 3.0L I-6 turbocharged gasoline engine combined with a mild-hybrid system.

However, power has been slightly increased to 375 horsepower (previously 367 horsepower), torque remains at 500 Nm. This transmission comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission but Mercedes has upgraded the gearshift software for smoother operation and better fuel economy.

In addition to familiar safety technologies such as lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, the new mid-life upgrade version promises to have a 360-degree camera with a "transparent hood" feature, allowing the driver to see the terrain surface in front of the vehicle, supporting parking and moving in complex terrain.
