Northern region has strong thunderstorms, especially in the Northeast over 100mm

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from today (June 9) to the night of June 10, in the North and Thanh Hoa, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain with rainfall from 40-90mm, in some places over 140mm; in the Northeast region of the North, 50-80mm, in some places over 100mm/24 hours. Rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon, night, and morning.

Also during this time, the Central Highlands and the South have rainfall from 40-80mm, with some places over 120mm. Rainfall is concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

For the Central region, this evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, in some places over 50mm.

According to the meteorological agency, from June 11-13, in the North and Thanh Hoa, there will continue to be very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 60-120mm, with some places over 180mm. On June 11-12, in the Central Highlands and the South, rainfall will range from 40-80mm, with some places over 120mm.

The impact of heavy rain requires precautions against the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas; or the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Northwest

Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain in places and scattered thunderstorms. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees, some places below 23 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.

Northeast

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees, some places below 23 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, intermittent sunshine during the day; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, locally heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms at night in some places; Thanh Hoa and Nghe An in particular have rain, moderate rain, some places heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, intermittent sunshine during the day; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening in the north, locally heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places at night. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees, some places over 30 degrees.

Southern Vietnam
