Northern region has intermittent sunshine, possibility of rain in the evening

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather pattern causing rain in the Northern region has weakened and moved south. Rain only appears in the southern region of the Northern Delta and the North Central provinces.

Today (September 17), the weather forecast for the North and North Central regions is to maintain the pattern of intermittent sunshine, with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in some places, concentrated in the late afternoon and evening. In particular, the Northwest region will have sunny days, with the highest temperature in some places above 31 degrees Celsius, while the Northeast region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places.

In Hanoi, it is cloudy, sunny during the day, with occasional showers and thunderstorms in some places. Temperatures tend to increase with the highest temperature during the day being around 31-32 degrees, and the lowest temperature at night and in the morning being around 25-27 degrees.

Meanwhile, in the Central and South Central regions, the Central Highlands and the South this afternoon, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, in some places over 70mm.

Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas and the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

North to northwest wind level 2-3. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Lowest temperature: 24-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-32 degrees.

Winter comes late, the North still has many rainy days . In the early winter, cold air is weak; severe cold may appear late. In the North and Central regions, there are still many days of showers and thunderstorms, some days with moderate rain and heavy rain.

How long will the rain last in the northern provinces and Hanoi? The northern and north central regions are experiencing heavy to very heavy rain, with rainfall exceeding 100mm in many places. However, in the next 1-2 days, the heavy rain will gradually decrease in these areas and the sun will return.
