Based on the credit plan developed and approved annually by the Head of the Representative Board - Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank (SPB) of the district, based on the additional allocated capital target, in the first 4 months of 2025, the SBV of Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province has actively coordinated with local authorities at the commune level, entrusted mass organizations to promote the disbursement of loan capital to meet the borrowing needs of poor households and policy beneficiaries in the district, focusing on additional allocated capital for lending, the largest being the Clean Water Supply and Rural Environmental Sanitation program with an allocated capital of 19,500 million VND.
According to statistics, in the first 4 months of the year, there were 1,400 households borrowing capital with a total loan turnover of 90,162 million VND, an average loan of 64.4 million VND/household borrowing; the loan capital was disbursed through entrusted organizations such as: Farmers' Association, Women's Association, Veterans' Association and Youth Union. Communes and towns with large loan turnover include: Yen Hoa commune with 60 households borrowing, disbursed amount of 4,000 million VND; Quy Dat town with 90 households borrowing, disbursed amount of 5,942 million VND; Trung Hoa commune with 120 households borrowing, disbursed amount of 7,349 million VND.
Credit programs with large loan turnover include: Loans for near-poor households with 225 households borrowing capital with a disbursement turnover of 16,900 million VND; Loans for clean water and environmental sanitation programs with 1,400 projects borrowing capital with a disbursement turnover of 33,300 million VND; Loans to support job creation, job maintenance and expansion with 280 workers borrowing capital with a disbursement turnover of 19,600 million VND; the rest are other credit programs. In addition to loan disbursement, credit quality improvement work is also maintained regularly, outstanding interest debt is gradually reduced over the months, overdue debt accounts for 0.07% of total outstanding debt.
