This morning (September 11), Mitsubishi Vietnam officially launched the All-New Triton with 3 versions: Triton 2WD AT GLX version (Gray, Black, White) priced at 655 million VND; Triton 2WD AT Premium version (White, Black, Orange) priced at 782 million VND; Triton 4WD AT Athlete version (White, Black, Orange) priced at 924 million VND. Mitsubishi Triton 2024 is still designed based on the characteristic Dynamic Shield language but has been refined to bring a more modern look. The front of the car is extended, with a large honeycomb grille combined with a square front bumper creating a strong impression. The rear bumper is synchronized, creating a sporty highlight for the overall vehicle. The two sides include LED positioning lights and LED projector headlights similar to the new Xpander. The car's fog lights are small and located at the two corners of the front of the car. At the rear of the car, the taillights are placed horizontally inside the T-shaped. The new Athlete version has many sporty black painted details such as: C-shaped grille cover, rims, wheel arch covers, door handles, rearview mirrors and roof racks. Not only the appearance but also the size of the Mitsubishi Triton 2024 has changed. The car has dimensions of length x width x height of 5,320/5,360 x 1,865/1,930 x 1,795/1,815 mm and a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. With a wheelbase of up to 3,130 mm, every seating position has comfortable legroom. The approach angle of 30.4 degrees, departure angle of 22.8 degrees and ground clearance of 228 mm not only help the car easily conquer challenging off-road roads, but also combined with a turning radius of only 6.2 m, providing flexibility and confidence when moving in crowded urban areas. The largest cargo bed size in the segment, with length, width, height of 1,470 x 1,545 x 520 (mm), respectively, and a load capacity of up to 740 kg (Triton 2WD AT Premium version, load capacity will vary depending on the version), meeting a variety of cargo transportation needs. The cargo bed is also equipped with a liner with drainage grooves and convenient hooks, supporting convenient arrangement and storage of goods. The height of the bed is only 821 mm and the spacious, anti-slip side steps on both sides of the bed make getting on and off and loading and unloading goods into the bed convenient and safe. The interior of the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton integrates many new features such as a 4-way adjustable steering wheel, a dashboard with a 7-inch multi-information screen, an electric driver's seat, a 9-inch central touch screen (8-inch GLX), automatic air conditioning, wireless Apple CarPlay/wired Android Auto connectivity support, rear seat air vents, USB Type A/Type C ports and wireless phone charging, 6-speaker audio, smart key... The car is equipped with a series of smart safety features such as: forward collision warning and mitigation, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and lane change assist, cross traffic warning when reversing... In higher versions, the car has some more advanced safety features such as 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system, active cornering control system. Mitsubishi Triton 2024 in Vietnam has 2 diesel engine options. Single turbocharged MIVEC diesel engine, 2.4L capacity with maximum capacity of 184 horsepower at 3,500 rpm and maximum torque of 430 Nm at 2,250-2,500 rpm. MIVEC twin-turbo diesel engine, 2.4L capacity with maximum capacity of 204 horsepower at 3,500 rpm and maximum torque of 470 Nm at 1,500/2,750 rpm. The engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The lower versions of the car will use an electro-hydraulic power steering system and an Easy Select 4WD 4-wheel drive system. The Athlete version will have 7 driving modes, an electronic power steering system and a Super Select II 4WD 4-wheel drive system. The upgraded suspension system with a 2 mm increase in front stabilizer bar diameter and a 20 mm increase in fork travel helps the car adapt better to many terrain conditions. The rear suspension is equipped with larger shock absorbers and optimized leaf springs, increasing durability and reducing weight without affecting the carrying capacity, providing a comfortable and smooth feeling for both the driver and passengers when traveling through difficult terrain. The 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is also equipped with an electronic rear differential lock feature, allowing the driver to lock the differential with just one press of a button, helping the car easily overcome difficult terrain.
