Train tickets for Tet 2025 on sale from October 1

From October 1, the railway will open group ticket sales for the 2025 Tet train, serving the early needs of workers, students, etc. to return home.

Saigon Railway Transport Branch said that this unit is accepting registration to buy group tickets for the Tet At Ty 2025 train until 3:00 p.m. on September 30, 2024. The number of registrations for both outbound and return trips, each trip from 5 tickets or more.

Group ticket sales are expected to start from 8:00 a.m. on October 1st until October 5th, 2024.

The railway plans to sell group tickets for the 2025 Tet train from October 1.

Units of the People's Armed Forces, universities, colleges, industrial parks, export processing zones, companies - enterprises, social organizations, units inside and outside the railway industry that need to go to the stations: Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Binh Thuan, Phan Thiet , Suoi Kiet, Song Mao, Thap Cham, Da Lat to register. When registering to buy group tickets, units need to bring a letter of introduction, a list of tickets purchased for the 2025 Lunar New Year and a summary table of departures and returns according to the form. The list must clearly and accurately state the full name, phone number, and identification number of the train passengers. One of the following documents can be used: citizen identification card, birth certificate, passport, certificate of the armed forces, National Assembly delegate card, journalist card, party membership card, union membership card, car - motorbike driving license, certificate of social policy beneficiaries. According to information from Giao Thong Newspaper, during the Tet train operation period from January 15, 2025 (ie December 16, year of Giap Thin) to February 16, 2025 (ie January 19, year of At Ty), on the North - South route, the railway will regularly operate 7 pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains running continuously between Hanoi station - Saigon station and 9 pairs of regional passenger trains.
