Therefore, when immigration and emigration activities are implemented at Bac Luan II bridge area, which is only used for import and export of goods, it will reduce the number of passengers passing through Mong Cai International Border Gate, Bac Luan I bridge area. The activities will also create an open environment, attracting domestic and international tourists, contributing to promoting tourism development of the two localities and the two countries.

Immediately after cutting the ribbon to announce the start of customs clearance, the electric shuttle bus from Vietnam to China carried tourists out of the country across the dividing line of Bac Luan II Bridge to the border gate of the opposite country.

The activity took place in the context of Chinese tourists to Vietnam increasing, reaching 1.5 million arrivals in the past 11 months and ranking second among the largest markets sending visitors to Vietnam.
