According to information from Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the railway will continue to run more than 10 trains to bring people back to Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces to work after the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday.
Accordingly, from now until February 26, depending on the departure date and station, there are more than 10 train brands running from Hanoi , Vinh, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang to the final station, Saigon station.

Specifically, departing from Hanoi station are trains SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7, SE9, SE11, SE23, TN3, TN5. The trains all stop to pick up and drop off passengers at stations along the route, including Bien Hoa (Dong Nai), Di An ( Binh Duong ).
At Vinh station (Nghe An), trains SE13 depart at 9:10 am, SE15 at 9:45 pm; Dong Hoi station (Quang Binh), train SE17 departs at 9:25 am; Da Nang station, train SE21 departs at 9:50 pm; Quang Ngai station, train SE25 departs at 7:05 am; Quy Nhon station, train SE29 departs at 12:55 pm; Nha Trang station, train SNT1 departs at 7:50 pm, train SNT11 departs at 7:25 am.
During this time, the railway still applies many ticket discount policies: 2% to 8% discount on ticket prices for groups of 10 or more people traveling by train between February 19 and February 26, 2024 (for odd-numbered trains). Tour guides also receive a 90% discount on tickets for seats or sleeper berths in compartments 6 and a 30% discount on sleeper berths in compartments 4.
5% discount on return ticket price for passengers purchasing round-trip tickets. 20% discount on ticket price for students of universities, academies, colleges, vocational and technical high schools from February 20 to February 26, 2024 (for odd-numbered trains). Other periods are 10% discount.
From Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, the railway has promotional programs to reduce ticket prices from 5% to 30% for passengers such as: buying long-distance tickets, buying in groups, round trips...
The railway still applies ticket discounts for social policy beneficiaries: Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, people infected with toxic chemicals, people with severe disabilities, the elderly, children, union members, and passengers with customer cards.
