At the conference connecting tourism service businesses with the railway industry on August 13, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, announced the product set “80 Hanoi experiences not to be missed during the historic festival season”. In which, railway tourism products are considered a pioneering highlight.
"These new products promise to have their own brands and become key products, contributing to strongly attracting tourists to the capital," Mr. Tran Trung Hieu shared.

The outstanding product is The Hanoi Train tour, the first inner-city tourist train route of the capital, implemented by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with Vietnam Railways Corporation and BHL Tourism Service Trading Joint Stock Company.
According to Mr. Dao Duc Hiep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BHL Tourism Company, the double-decker train consists of 5 passenger cars, each car is named after a historic gate: O Cau Den, O Quan Chuong, O Cau Giay, O Cho Dua and O Dong Mac. The train journey has morning, afternoon and evening time slots, passing through Hanoi, Gia Lam, Long Bien stations and stopping to visit Do Temple (Bac Ninh), Long Bien Bridge. Each train is a space for music performances, culinary introductions and reenactments of urban memories.
In addition, there are products exploiting the Cat Linh - Ha Dong metro line 2A. The Hanoi Department of Tourism has coordinated with Hanoi Railway Company Limited to build two sample tours. According to Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc, Deputy Director of Hanoi Railway Company Limited, the tour "Green Journey - Van Phuc Silk Village" will take visitors from Cat Linh station to Ha Dong and then cycle to explore the silk village. The tour "Green Journey - Temple of Literature - Phu Luong Depot" combines visiting the relic and experiencing the metro line operation center.

Mr. Kieu Viet, Head of Travel Management Department, Hanoi Department of Tourism, emphasized: "Metro Line 2A not only helps reduce traffic congestion but also brings new opportunities to explore the capital in a convenient and environmentally friendly way."
At the conference, businesses also gave many constructive suggestions.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Tourism Corporation, proposed adding food and souvenir stalls and decorating the station with cultural themes. From a travel perspective, Mr. Truong Quoc Hung, Chairman of the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club (HUTC), suggested adding Ha Dong Market and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to the tour, and issuing daily tickets to facilitate tourists.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association, tourism can help fill the metro's low hours. He suggested taking advantage of craft villages to open stalls right at the station.
Taking note of the comments, Mr. Khuat Viet Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Railway Company Limited, said that the unit is building an information application and has deployed daily and weekly tickets. On the occasion of the September 2 holiday, Metro plans to arrange fast food counters, give away free tickets and closely coordinate with travel agencies.
The event ended with a signing ceremony of cooperation between travel businesses and railway service providers, opening a new chapter for the development of tourism in the capital.
