According to TechSpot , the latest Monster Hunter Wilds game in the famous monster hunting action game series has created an unprecedented fever on the Steam platform, breaking a series of records and proving the strong appeal of this brand.

Monster Hunter Wilds Overtakes Dota 2 With Over 1.3 Million Concurrent Players

After just 12 hours of launch, Monster Hunter Wilds recorded a record 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam, becoming the first Capcom game to surpass the million-player milestone. This achievement not only beat popular games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Marvel Rivals , but also surpassed the 'king' Dota 2 , reaching the top 10 games with the highest number of concurrent players of all time on Steam.

Monster Hunter Wilds ' success doesn't stop at Steam. The game has also received a warm welcome from the gaming community on consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Even developer Pocketpair Palworld also had to let employees go because too many people called in sick on the game's launch day.

Despite performance issues on PC, such as high system requirements and stuttering, Monster Hunter Wilds still attracts millions of gamers. The modder community also quickly jumped in, creating more than 40 mods with over 10,000 downloads in a short time.

The Monster Hunter Wilds craze has also created conditions for AMD to successfully 'follow' in. The company launched a promotion to give away the game when buying Ryzen CPUs, Radeon graphics cards and pre-built computer systems.
