MTV VMA 2025: Lady Gaga crowned Artist of the Year, Rose makes history

Rose won Song of the Year for her collaboration with Bruno Mars, "APT.", the first time a K-pop artist has been honored in this prestigious category.

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) in New York (USA) ended with emotional moments and explosive performances.

Pop queen Lady Gaga won the Artist of the Year award, kicking off a night that celebrated the best in musical talent.

With a flowing black outfit and prominent purple accents, Lady Gaga shared a meaningful message when receiving the award: "Being an artist is an effort to connect the souls of people around the world ."

She expressed her wish to dedicate this award to her fans and her partner, Michael Polansky.

Lady Gaga's win has kept Taylor Swift and Beyoncé from the line for the most VMAs in history. Both "queens" still hold the record with 30 awards.
