Rose's “APT.” reached 2 billion views on YouTube in the shortest time

“APT.” - the hit single marking the international music industry-shaking collaboration between Rose (BLACKPINK) and Bruno Mars, has just made history by becoming the K-pop video to reach 2 billion views on YouTube in the shortest time.

According to Yonhap news agency, The Black Label - Rose's management company said "APT." reached this milestone just 335 days after its official debut on October 18, 2024.

Previously, Rose made fans proud when, together with BLACKPINK, she owned two videos "Ddu-du Ddu-du" and "Kill This Love" that surpassed 2 billion views.

But with “APT.,” she made history by becoming the first K-pop artist to have a video hit 2 billion views, both as a group member and as a solo artist.

“APT.,” the lead track from Rose’s debut studio album “rosie,” became a global hit, dominating major domestic and international charts.

The song not only caused a stir because of its catchy melody but also because of the harmonious, emotional combination between Rose and Bruno Mars.
