MU wants "new Messi" Echeverri
Manchester United officials are doing everything they can to sign Claudio Echeverri, the new gem of River Plate and Argentine football.
Echeverri is currently playing brilliantly with Argentina U17 at the South American U17 Championship held in Ecuador, where he scored 3 goals and had 3 assists.
The January 2006-born player has many similarities with Lionel Messi. Echeverri, nicknamed "El Diablito" (the little devil), also considers the captain of the Argentine national team as his idol.
MU, along with clubs like Real Madrid, Man City, PSG, and Barcelona, all sent scouts to Ecuador to watch Echeverri's performance.
River Plate are not willing to let Echeverri go easily. The Buenos Aires-based club are trying to convince their star player to sign a new contract, which includes a clause that increases the contract's release clause from 20 to 50 million Euros.
Liverpool sign Barella
Barella is Liverpool's top target. |
In the project towards the new 2023-24 season, Liverpool prioritizes strengthening the midfield with the target of Nicolo Barella.
Liverpool are set to make big changes in midfield. Naby Keita and James Milner are out of contract, while Arthur Melo is not being retained. Thiago Alcantara's future is also uncertain.
Jurgen Klopp needs to add energy and Barella is a favourite. The Italian has an all-round style of play that is considered suitable for Liverpool.
Inter Milan are currently in financial difficulty, as the Chinese investor does not spend much money on football activities. Therefore, the club does not rule out the possibility of selling Barella.
According to Italian press, Inter are not negotiating with offers for Barella for less than 50 million Euros.
Milan inquire about Jonathan David
Milan intend to buy David. |
AC Milan need to strengthen their attack for the new season, and Jonathan David has become an important target in the football project that technical director Paolo Maldini is implementing.
The Serie A champions needed a young striker to succeed Olivier Giroud. The Origi solution didn't work, so Milan decided to focus on Jonathan David.
Jonathan David has been in good form this season. He has scored 19 goals for Lille in Ligue 1, leading the scorers' list with Kylian Mbappe.
Milan's current squad includes two former Lille players, striker Rafael Leao and goalkeeper Mike Maignan, and the Rossoneri are hoping to strike a deal for Jonathan David soon.
Milan must spend 40-50 million Euros to have the signature of the 23-year-old Canadian striker. If the deal is completed, this will be one of the biggest investments of the San Siro team.
