Muong Cha district is implementing a public consultation process regarding the reorganization of commune-level administrative units.

Dien Bien TV - On the afternoon of April 18th, Muong Cha district held a conference to implement the work of gathering public opinions and organizing the People's Council sessions at all levels regarding the rearrangement and reorganization of commune-level administrative units in the district.

According to the proposed plan, Muong Cha district will be reorganized into 6 new commune-level administrative units.

Through community meetings in villages and residential areas, the People's Committees of communes and towns are responsible for organizing consultations with representatives of households residing in the localities implementing the merger plan, ensuring that at least two-thirds of the household representatives attend.

The proposed arrangements must be made public, posted, and widely publicized so that people can understand them and participate in providing feedback.

The compilation of the opinion-gathering results must be completed and submitted to the District People's Committee before 11:00 AM on April 21st. After that, the People's Councils at all levels will hold a meeting to vote on and approve the proposal.
