In 2025, with the attention and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, directly by Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the Association; the close coordination and responsibility of functional units under the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the support and companionship of organizations and individuals inside and outside the Public Security Force, the Public Security Sports Association continues to achieve many achievements, affirming its position and making a strong mark in many aspects, thereby creating a solid foundation for the long-term and sustainable development of Vietnam Public Security Sports.
In 2025, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association accompanied and supported athletes participating in 81 domestic and international sports tournaments, winning 620 medals (including 233 gold medals, 165 silver medals, 222 bronze medals), including 206 gold medals, 151 silver medals, 202 bronze medals at 64 domestic tournaments, 27 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 20 bronze medals at 17 international tournaments.
In addition, the Association has coordinated with relevant units to successfully organize the ASEAN Open Police Football Tournament, with the Vietnam Police II team winning the championship; the International Police Volleyball Tournament, gathering hundreds of athletes from more than 10 Asian countries (the Police volleyball team won the silver medal).

In addition, the Association also expanded cooperation with domestic enterprises, establishing an important milestone in the strategy of socializing sports, opening up opportunities for sustainable development between the armed forces and the private sector; strengthening in-depth international cooperation when working and implementing a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA) as well as the Federation of Mixed Martial Arts of the Russian Federation.
At the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, affirmed that Vietnam's Public Security Sports has many important tasks in 2026, focusing on building a modern Public Security Sports training and competition center, implementing a sports movement in the entire force, connecting with the masses, planning a sports training and coaching network in the Public Security, identifying strong sports for strategic and long-term investment...
In 2026, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association will continue to promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", proactively coordinate with units to promote the organization of large-scale mass sports tournaments, improve professionalism; strongly develop the physical training and sports movement in the People's Public Security force and the people.
The Association also proactively discovers a team of coaches and athletes capable of winning medals towards high-performance sports; gradually professionalizes the work of selection, training, coaching and competition organization; improves the quality of high-performance sports achievements. Strive to rank the entire delegation in the top 6 units at the National Sports Festival in 2026. Along with that, affirm the position of Vietnam Public Security sports in the international arena; firmly prepare for the roadmap to host the World Police and Fire Games.
