For a long time, people in village 8, Ea Pok town (Cu M'gar district) have been familiar with the image of the gentle, hard-working, and obedient boy Vu Hoang Hiep. Orphaned by both parents, Hiep grew up in the loving and caring arms of his grandparents. Despite difficult circumstances, grandparents and grandchildren always loved each other, trying to overcome the hardships of life. Hiep always tried to study hard to not disappoint his grandparents who had devoted all their love to him.

However, ironically, disaster once again struck this family that had already suffered many losses. Hiep had a traffic accident at the intersection of Cu Sue commune, on the familiar road from school to home. The accident left him with a broken leg, multiple injuries, lying motionless on a hospital bed with pain tormenting both his body and mind.

Hoang is being treated in hospital.

Orphaned at an early age, lacking the love and protection of his parents, this tragic accident now pushed Hiep further into despair. Not only did he have to endure physical pain, he also worried endlessly about the uncertain future ahead. How could he continue to go to school? How could he take care of himself when his legs were no longer healthy? These questions kept haunting the mind of the 20-year-old boy.

Currently, Hiep is being treated at the Central Highlands General Hospital. Doctors have diagnosed that his condition is very serious, with a risk of leg necrosis. Doctors have advised that he should be transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) for the best treatment conditions. However, the economic burden weighs heavily on the weak shoulders of his grandparents. Two years ago, his grandmother also had an accident on her way home from work. Her surgery and treatment cost more than 100 million VND, making the already difficult family situation even more difficult. Now, her health has deteriorated significantly, and she is no longer able to work to make ends meet, let alone pay for her grandchild's expensive surgery.

We hope that philanthropists, organizations and individuals will support Vu Hoang Hiep to have the opportunity to receive timely treatment, continue his unfinished studies and have a brighter future.
