On September 2, a report from the Yen Bai Department of Education and Training confirmed that students of Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted realized that the content of their post on social media on September 1 was inappropriate, so they proactively removed the post and posted an apology on their personal Facebook page.

Previously, this account posted an article on Facebook's Story section with inappropriate content, causing a stir and outrage among the public.

Regarding the above incident, the Yen Bai Department of Education and Training has coordinated with the provincial police to grasp the situation. The Department also directed Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted to promptly report the incident, and at the same time send staff and teachers directly to the student's family to learn more about the incident.

The Department also had a working session with Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted, requesting the school to promptly guide the school's teachers and students in speaking in accordance with regulations.

"The Department has assigned school leaders and homeroom teachers to closely coordinate with families and localities to continue monitoring and grasping the situation and developments in student V.'s thoughts and psychology, proactively coordinating with the police force and related units to promptly advise on handling the incident to ensure compliance with regulations and soon stabilize the situation," said a representative of the Yen Bai Department of Education and Training.
