Nam Tra My disburses 11.34% of capital for national target programs

According to the report of Nam Tra My District People's Committee, in 2025, the total capital plan for national target programs (including capital sources from previous years) in the locality is nearly 136 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is more than 107.2 billion VND, the provincial budget is 16.1 billion VND and the district budget is more than 12.6 billion VND.

As of May 7, 2025, the locality has disbursed more than VND 15.4 billion/VND 136 billion (11.34%). Specifically, the extended capital in 2024 has been transferred to nearly VND 16.5 billion (disbursed 17.12%) and the capital allocation plan in 2025 is nearly VND 119.5 billion (disbursed 10.54%).

At the meeting, Nam Tra My raised a number of difficulties and problems related to working spirit, causing some work to be temporarily interrupted and not very effective; site clearance work has not been resolved quickly, affecting the progress of project construction.

Meanwhile, the shortage of construction materials, especially construction sand; the announced unit price of materials is not close to the market..., affecting the project progress. In addition, the demand for investment capital to implement the criteria according to the plan is large, but the capital from the Central New Rural Target Program and the province allocated to the district is low, not meeting the demand...

Nam Tra My proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider increasing the level of funding support and supplementing funding sources outside the National Target Program for New Rural Areas to achieve the project's goals and effectiveness in particularly difficult communes.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested Nam Tra My to continue its efforts in implementing and disbursing capital for the National Target Programs allocated by the province. At the same time, he reported to the Provincial People's Committee a list of remaining funding options and new capital sources that will be allocated by the province in the future.

Based on the capital allocated by the province, Nam Tra My urgently allocates specific funds to localities for implementation, especially capital for livelihoods, housing... to ensure that the state's support policies reach the people effectively and practically.

In addition, the locality builds a construction diary plan, commits to investors to speed up project progress, completes related procedures before there is a policy to arrange administrative units to end the operation of district-level administrative units...
