Commendation for Phuoc Son district for completing site clearance for National Highway 14E project

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended the Phuoc Son District Party Committee and People's Committee for their strong leadership and direction in implementation; proactively promoting propaganda and mobilizing the people; promptly removing difficulties and obstacles arising in compensation and site clearance work of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E through the district.

Thanks to that, the locality has completed the land acquisition, site clearance and handed over the entire site to Project Management Board 4 (Vietnam Road Administration) and the contractor to implement the project according to the required schedule. Based on the results achieved, the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements as proposed by the district.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and guide the People's Committee of Phuoc Son district to carry out the relevant documents, processes and procedures. At the same time, inspect, appraise, advise and propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision on rewards in accordance with regulations.

It is known that the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E through Phuoc Son district with a total length of 23.78km is located in the area of 3 communes: Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Hoa, Phuoc Xuan. The total land area to be recovered for the project is 45.46ha; 529 households and organizations are affected (17 households are subject to complete clearance).

The implementation time for compensation, support and resettlement will start from May 2023. The total compensation and site clearance plans of the project approved by the District People's Committee are 62 plans. Up to now, the relevant units have completed 100% compensation payment to organizations and individuals according to the approved plan; handing over the entire length of the site for construction by the contractor.
