(QBĐT) - In order to improve the quality of vocationaleducation (VET), in recent times, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) has actively implemented many activities to improve the capacity and professional expertise of teachers and VET managers in the province.
According to statistics from the Department of Labor, Employment and Vocational Training (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), the province currently has 202 people in the vocational education management team, 660 permanent teachers (on the payroll and on contracts of 12 months or more) at vocational education institutions, vocational education institutions and institutions with vocational education activities of less than 3 months.

In 2023, the Department actively implemented many activities to improve the capacity and professional expertise of teachers and vocational education managers, such as: Organizing conferences to deploy and guide the implementation of policies related to the field of vocational education for 90 people; summer political training for 45 people representing school leaders, leaders of vocational education-continuing education centers, Vocational Education and Farmers-Women Support Centers, leaders, staff of student affairs departments, secretaries or deputy secretaries of the Youth Union of vocational education institutions...
The unit also coordinated with Vinh University of Technical Education to organize a pedagogical training course for 32 vocational education teachers teaching at the elementary level; coordinated with Hue College of Tourism to organize a training course on advanced baking techniques for 22 teachers of vocational education institutions...
Improving the quality of teachers and managers will contribute to determining the quality of vocational education, thereby creating quality human resources for the labor market.
