This activity aims to contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of tax management.
Deputy Head of the Binh Son District Tax Department Pham Van Huan said that there are many agencies and enterprises operating in the district. The number of workers at companies and factories in Dung Quat Economic Zone is very large. Therefore, the need to resolve tax administrative procedures of workers and units is higher than in other localities. To ensure the settlement of procedures and documents in accordance with regulations, the department has disseminated and thoroughly grasped the regulations of the state and the industry on tax payment procedures; promoted the reform of administrative procedures to all officials and employees in the industry. Publicly posted 150 current administrative procedures, the posting location is convenient for taxpayers to follow.

From January 1, 2022 to April 15, 2024, Binh Son District Tax Department received nearly 95.6 thousand records of all kinds. Up to now, the department has processed nearly 95.1 thousand records; of which, more than 92.5 thousand records were processed on time (reaching 97.4% of the number of records processed), the number of records being processed is 511 records.
According to Head of the Taxpayer Support and Propaganda Department (Provincial Tax Department) Dang Thi Lai Thanh, through the recent inspection by the Provincial Tax Department, the Binh Son District Tax Department is one of the units that has well implemented the regulations on administrative reform and administrative procedures. In addition, tax authorities at all levels have received and processed administrative procedure dossiers under the "one-stop" mechanism within their authority, scope and functions and tasks, ensuring quick and convenient settlement of work for taxpayers, and taxpayer dossiers are processed within the time limit and in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration and current tax management procedures. Receiving and returning results to taxpayers electronically is carried out in accordance with the provisions of legal documents on electronic transactions in the tax sector.
In addition, in the settlement of administrative procedures, there is close coordination between departments and units within the tax authority, between the tax authority and other relevant agencies, ensuring that records are processed quickly, on time and without causing inconvenience or harassment to taxpayers. District and regional tax offices have also guided taxpayers to submit records, receive and return results of tax administrative procedures to taxpayers electronically. In the first 6 months of 2024, tax authorities across the province received more than 103,500 records, with the rate of records received and processed online at levels 3 and 4 accounting for 94% of the total number of records.
“To contribute to strengthening discipline, order, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of tax management, the Provincial Tax Department will continue to direct the implementation of key tasks of administrative reform and control of administrative procedures. Focus on improving the capacity, qualifications and professional ethics of tax officials and civil servants. Prioritize promoting the application of information technology, simplifying administrative procedures, reducing costs for people and businesses... to meet the expectations and trust of taxpayers and contribute to preventing tax losses," said Ms. Dang Thi Lai Thanh.
