Improve investment efficiency in industrial clusters and small-scale industrial zones

QTO - On the afternoon of November 13, a working delegation of Dong Son ward led by comrade Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Secretary of the ward Party Committee, visited and inspected production activities at industrial clusters (ICs) and small-scale industries (TTCNs) in the area to solve difficulties, encourage people to expand production, and improve product quality.

In Dong Son ward, there are 3 industrial parks (Thuan Duc industrial park, Bac Nghia industrial park and Nghia Ninh industrial park) planned, invested in technical infrastructure construction and put into operation with a total planned land area of ​​40.36 hectares, total industrial production land area of ​​21.83 hectares. Currently, there are 55 establishments and enterprises that have been leased land by the State in industrial parks and small-scale industries, with an occupancy rate of 94.09%.

Through inspection, it is shown that industrial production activities continue to maintain growth and efficiency, mainly focusing on industries such as: Construction materials production, mechanics, energy pellet production, fine art woodwork, mechanics, tempered glass, commercial concrete, wood sawing. Environmental protection work at production facilities is implemented quite synchronously, without causing environmental pollution.

However, the production scale of enterprises in industrial zones is still limited. Some projects are slow to implement, leading to inefficient land use and waste of resources.

Based on the proposals and recommendations, Dong Son ward will make recommendations to the province and concerned departments, branches and sectors, and have practical policies to support businesses and establishments in terms of capital, orientation to access new technology and product consumption. In the immediate future, the ward leaders will urge, manage and effectively use industrial parks and small-scale industrial zones; create favorable conditions for industrial production establishments and small-scale industrial zones to invest in production to improve labor productivity, well meet the consumption needs of society; at the same time, have measures to handle projects with slow construction investment to promote land use efficiency.
