2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board, the unit that operates and manages the province's industrial parks, and plays an important role in operating and orienting local industrial development.
Efforts to accompany infrastructure and secondary businesses
Over the past 3 decades, from the challenging beginnings, Dong Nai now has 37 industrial parks with a total land area of over 10 thousand hectares, attracting investment from 45 countries and territories, with a total of more than 2.1 thousand projects, creating jobs for more than 592 thousand workers. This not only affirms Dong Nai's position on the Vietnamese industrial map, but also brings significant socio -economic value to the country.
To achieve that result, under the direction of the province, Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board has united, made efforts to overcome difficulties, and successfully completed assigned tasks. In particular, the work of accompanying infrastructure investors and secondary enterprises has always been promoted. Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board has promoted dynamism, creativity, and flexibility in applying policies and guidelines within the legal framework to handle. In addition, the unit advises the Provincial People's Committee to handle newly arising issues and issues with unclear points in the Central regulations, in the spirit of quick resolution, creating a favorable investment and business environment for enterprises.

According to Deputy Head of Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board Duong Thi Xuan Nuong, in addition to reforming administrative procedures in attracting investment, meeting and dialogue with enterprises is very important. In addition to advising the province to organize annual dialogue conferences with enterprises, the unit also organizes meetings with enterprises in the industrial park every 6 months. Regular meetings and dialogues between the government and enterprises have actively contributed to accompanying enterprises in removing difficulties and obstacles.
At present, there is not much industrial land left, but there will be clear changes in the coming time. Head of Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board Nguyen Tri Phuong commented that from the end of 2025 and next year, the land fund available for investors to lease in Dong Nai will be improved when Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park completes its infrastructure. In addition, a number of existing industrial parks have cleared a large amount of land and 3 new industrial parks: Long Duc 3, Xuan Que - Song Nhan (phase 1), Bau Can - Tan Hiep (phase 1) continue to be deployed to build infrastructure.
Improving the quality of industrial parks
For over 10 years, Dong Nai has advocated not developing industrial parks indiscriminately but focusing on attracting selective investment for reasonable and effective management and use. Thereby promoting land resources to meet the highest requirements, benefits and sustainable development of the locality. The province resolutely rejects projects that cause pollution, use a lot of labor, use outdated technology, and prioritize attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly projects, supporting industries and projects with small capital but high added value, have spillover effects, and connect production chains.

Sustainable development is even more urgent in the current period. Since 2021, Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board has participated in the Project on Deploying Eco-Industrial Parks in Vietnam following the approach from the global Eco-Industrial Park program. Amata Industrial Park has been selected to switch to the Eco-Industrial Park model. After that, the Provincial People's Committee continued to direct Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board to participate in the Project on Scaling Up the Eco-Industrial Park Approach to Promote the Circular Economy in Vietnam, as a continuation and expansion of the number of participating industrial parks.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung, Dong Nai strives for high economic growth in the coming years and enterprises have made important and decisive contributions to the growth of the locality. The province identifies attracting investment from enterprises in expanding production and business as a key solution. Industrial parks play a key role in attracting investment, especially foreign investment in the locality to create production value and promote economic growth. The task of the Industrial Park Management Board as well as related units this year and the following years is to continue expanding the area of industrial land and investing in infrastructure to attract investment.
