Improve the effectiveness of agricultural extension activities

As a bridge to bring scientific and technical advances to farmers, from 2021 to present, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has coordinated to produce 66 technical reports, 108 columns, seminars and the "Friend of Farmers" special page; printed and distributed 51,000 leaflets providing instructions on cultivation and animal husbandry techniques and 7,500 copies of the Agricultural Extension Newsletter.

Through training courses and implementing agricultural extension models to help farmers in Hoi Thinh commune (Tam Duong) grow vegetables according to VietGAP standards for high efficiency.

In addition, the Center organized 15 conferences to visit models in and outside the province, 716 training courses to improve knowledge on production processes, disease prevention on crops and livestock, and training in methods, techniques, and communication skills for agricultural extension work; participated in 14 trade promotion fairs to connect and promote agricultural products.

Every year, the Center deploys concentrated rat poison support for an area of ​​nearly 340 thousand hectares; provides microbial products to treat straw on an area of ​​17 thousand hectares of rice; builds many models in the Agricultural Extension Program, demonstrates models of transferring technical advances in agricultural and aquatic production...

Through the propaganda and application of high-quality plant and animal varieties in production, the province's agricultural, forestry and fishery production value has increased by an average of 3% per year, exceeding the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress (1.5 - 2%).
