Within the framework of activities responding to the National Week on Natural Disaster Prevention, on the morning of May 15, at the Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities in Bao Thang District, Lao Cai Province, the extracurricular activity of painting murals "Ready for natural disasters and climate change" was organized.

Wall painting is a useful activity, providing knowledge and skills, creating opportunities for students to develop creative ideas and to participate in disaster prevention and control for a sustainable community against natural disasters.

The bright and cheerful drawings and colors express the students’ voices and dreams for a safer school and society against natural disasters. These paintings not only contribute to beautifying the school campus but also serve as meaningful visual lessons, helping students remember and raise awareness about proactive disaster prevention.

On the same day, the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control organized the Golden Bell contest "Preventing natural disasters with you - Building a sustainable future". With the aim of creating a useful and healthy playground, promoting awareness of learning, learning knowledge and skills on natural disaster prevention for students, recently many activities integrating knowledge on natural disaster prevention in schools, including the Golden Bell contest "Preventing natural disasters with you - Building a sustainable future" have been organized in many localities such as Soc Trang, Da Nang , Quang Nam, Phu Tho, Quang Binh...

The contest is not only a useful playground to help children improve their knowledge and practice their skills, but also an opportunity for them to demonstrate their sense of responsibility to the community. Through questions related to natural disaster prevention, the contest will contribute to raising awareness and response capacity, helping children protect themselves and support their families and friends when incidents occur.
