Newcastle closes 'blockbuster' deal to replace Isak

British media have confirmed that Isak is considering leaving the club, with Liverpool and a number of big clubs interested. "Newcastle are considering signing Benjamin Sesko if Alexander Isak leaves," transfer expert David Ornstein said. "The 22-year-old striker is a long-term target for the club and would be a top priority if Isak were to be replaced."

Sesko is the Bundesliga's most promising striker, with 21 goals and 6 assists in 45 appearances last season. If Newcastle really push ahead with the deal, it will be bad news for United, who are also chasing Sesko, along with other targets such as Ollie Watkins and Nicolas Jackson.
