Not only the scenery but also the hearts of people are excited because they are about to admire the impressive fireworks displays, the emotions that are only filled once and hear the happy sounds in the sky and water.

Symbol of happiness
It was still early in the morning, but the summer sun seemed to dry everything. Mrs. Le Thi Thu Nga (62 years old, An Hai Bac ward, Son Tra district), whose house is opposite the international fireworks festival stage on Tran Hung Dao street, shared that in the days leading up to the festival, in the early morning, her husband and she had the habit of sitting in front of the house enjoying tea and cakes and chatting about the upcoming fireworks festival. Through the media, she learned that this year was more special than previous years in terms of the number of performance nights and that Vietnam had two representatives participating. In addition, the teams from Korea and Portugal were participating in the international fireworks festival for the first time. Mrs. Nga's whole family was eagerly waiting for the performances of the competing teams as well as the two Vietnamese teams.
Continuing the story, Mrs. Nga confided that up to now, the journey of the international fireworks festival has gone through 17 years with 13 times of organization and she has also enjoyed the fireworks for the same number of years. Each year has a separate and different emotion. Each fireworks season, she considers herself a witness to the changes in her family. From the beginning when she watched with her children until later, when her children had to go far away to study and now, after a long time, her children return to the family to reunite and work. This year, Mrs. Nga is happy to gather with her family to preserve beautiful memories under the happy fireworks sky. “In the past, life was difficult and few people cared about spiritual life. Now, from the elderly to children, everyone can watch fireworks and listen to the magical, happy sounds. That is what makes me always proud of this livable city. This year, with the fireworks theme "Da Nang - New Era", I hope the city will flourish and grow even more in all aspects," Ms. Nga shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha (38 years old, Quang Nam province, a patient undergoing treatment, living in a boarding house on Hai Phong street) confided that every fireworks season, due to health reasons, she cannot go there and see it with her own eyes, but instead, she and the patients in her boarding house watch it on the TV screen. Over the years, each ray of fireworks shining in the night sky has given her happiness and countless beliefs and determination to live with the disease. At that moment, she feels that this world is wonderful, worth living, and in everyday life, there are moments of sadness and weakness, but they help her to rise up and revive strongly.
Not only her but also her fellow countrymen in the boarding house shared the same joy. “Like every year, I am waiting to fulfill my wish under the fireworks sky. I even have fragile wishes that I have sent in each of those fireworks. Whether it is granted or not, I am still happy, still joyful and see fireworks as a ray of hope to nurture my spiritual life over the past ten years,” Ms. Ha said emotionally.

"The world without distance"
Not only Mrs. Nga, Ms. Ha, to me, as a citizen of the city, got to admire the fireworks.

Why are there fireworks, where do their colors come from, when they fly far, when they get close, when they go high and gradually go low. Above all, I feel that fireworks are like a new life, a new moment, opening up beautiful rays of hope. And I take that as a milestone to look back at what has been done and what has not been done through each fireworks season.
To me, the fireworks festival is like a colorful forest to cool and soothe the city on hot summer days. It can be said that fireworks symbolize overwhelming happiness that makes all distances invisible. Even in that large grandstand, regardless of skin color, language, race, everyone comes together to listen, to awaken all senses, to make the heart suddenly flutter in the world of love and peace .
Mr. Kyosik Kim (38 years old), a tourist from South Korea, said that because he loves Vietnam, he left his hometown to live in Da Nang for more than 5 years. Besides his first love for the sea, fireworks are his second love. Every year, no matter how busy he is, he arranges his work to watch fireworks with his wife. He expressed that before, he had watched fireworks but only through screens and social networks. Coming to the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, he had the opportunity to directly watch each ray of fireworks being shot up from the water or along the riverbank and spreading out like endless colorful clouds, which he could never forget.
It must be said that that moment evoked in him thoughts and feelings that no words could describe. Not only was the fireworks a feast for the eyes, but the melodious music also made him and his wife drunk on every note. He even felt happy for a whole month after the fireworks festival ended.
Or Ms. Tran Hong Hanh (35 years old, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi city), every year, still spends time taking her mother to Da Nang for a whole week to watch fireworks. Like the locals and tourists, she also loves fireworks, and most of all, watching fireworks on the Han River in harmony with the soaring music makes her forget the pressures of work and life. She said that the fireworks displays are like a journey filled with only joy and happiness. Even though they are over, people still linger and remember them.
