(QNO) - To celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2023) and the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), on May 14, at Nguyen Trong Nghia Primary School (Dien Trung commune), the Dien Ban Town Young Pioneer Council organized the festival "Dien Ban Children are proud of Vietnamese culture" with the participation of more than 150 team leaders, team members, teenagers and children.
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the Town Youth Union, Chairman of the Dien Ban Town Youth Union Council reviewed the glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization through 82 years of growth and development; about the life and revolutionary career of the great President Ho Chi Minh.
The festival took place with many exciting and meaningful contents such as organizing culinary competitions of Vietnamese ethnic groups, fashion shows with costumes of 54 ethnic groups, organizing folk games...
Through the program, the pride in the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team in 82 years of training and development has been aroused. At the same time, it provides a healthy and useful playground, helping team members to enrich their knowledge of Vietnamese culture, contributing to improving the quality of team activities in the town.
On this occasion, the Town's Youth Union Council also honored 12 outstanding team members and presented more than 120 gifts to all team members, teenagers and children participating in the festival.
