Accordingly, out of a total of 7 models deployed in the Central Highlands region, Lam Dong province has 2 typical models of farming households including Mr. Vu Trung Thanh (Dinh Van Lam Ha commune) and Mr. Nguyen Nhat Quyen (Tan Ha Lam Ha commune), with pure coffee cultivation areas of 1 hectare and 1.5 hectares respectively.

The workshop noted that the synchronous application of technical solutions transferred by the Central Highlands Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology Institute, together with the coordination of the Agricultural Extension Centers of 4 provinces in the Central Highlands (Lam Dong, Dak Lak , Gia Lai and Quang Ngai) and Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company has brought about remarkable results. The pure coffee cultivation models in the period of 2023 - 2025 are fertilized with organic fertilizers, NPK compound fertilizers, combined with Biospring biological products and concentrated microorganisms with reasonable and balanced dosages according to each growth stage, helping to significantly reduce pests and diseases such as green scale insects, mealybugs, black aphids, branch borers, anthracnose, rust, dry branches, dry fruits, yellow leaves, root rot, etc.

The results showed that the pure coffee cultivation model helped reduce the rate of fruit drop by 10-17%, increase productivity by 5-6% and increase profits by 5.64%. At the same time, the rate of fresh fruit processed into kernels was also significantly improved compared to the control model, confirming the practical effectiveness of using biological products, organic fertilizers and Dau Trau Lam Dong mixed fertilizers in sustainable coffee development in key growing areas of the Central Highlands.
In the coming time, the Central Highlands Agricultural and Forestry Science Institute proposes to continue expanding the sustainable coffee cultivation model in key areas of Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai. The key solution is to apply BioSpring biological products combined with the comprehensive IPM process, water-saving irrigation, balanced nutrient management and reasonable pruning to optimize pest control efficiency, increase stable productivity, reduce costs of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and improve coffee quality for export.
