Caught 4 subjects using drugs at a motel in Ham Thuan Nam

On October 28, Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police said they were coordinating with Lam Dong Provincial Police's professional departments to consolidate documents and handle according to regulations the case of discovering and catching 4 subjects illegally using drugs at a motel in the commune.

Previously, while investigating the local situation, Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police discovered a motel room in Nam Tan village that had suspicious signs related to drugs. During the inspection, the police caught 4 subjects in the act of illegally using drugs, confiscating at the scene a plastic bag containing white crystals (the subjects claimed it was drugs bought for use), a 5,000 VND bill with white powder, 4 mobile phones and some audio equipment for drug use.

Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police made a record of the arrest of the offender, sealed all the evidence, detained the subjects and coordinated with the professional departments of Lam Dong Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy of Region 11 to conduct a crime scene examination and investigate the case. During the process of expanding the investigation, the authorities invited BMT (born in 1990, residing in Lap Binh village, Ham Thuan Nam commune) to work; here, T. confessed to the act of illegally buying and selling drugs.
