(Fatherland) - On March 8, at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, the Vietnamese Costume Festival "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" was held for the 5th time in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the love for national culture as well as honoring the beauty of national traditions.
The 5th "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" Vietnamese Costume Festival officially opened on March 8, 2025, within the framework of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival. The program was organized by the City People's Committee, coordinated by the Department of Tourism and the City Women's Union.

The event has attracted the attention not only of young people across Vietnam, but also of State agencies in joining hands to respond from individuals/businesses/agencies/organizations in Ho Chi Minh City in general and the provinces and cities where the event was organized in particular.
In this event, more than 1,000 young people gathered at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1 to honor traditional cultural costumes.
At the event, the sponsor Wall Street English Vietnam also organized interesting sideline activities such as: answering quizzes about Vietnamese history and culture in English; checking in at the event and practicing using English to introduce the culture and beauty of their country.
Wall Street English Vietnam representative said: "We do not only want to help young Vietnamese people improve their foreign language skills for simple life purposes. We also aspire to help you bring Vietnamese culture and media to the international community."

More than 1,000 volunteers will parade in traditional Vietnamese costumes - the largest scale ever. The parade route recreating the beauty of traditional costumes will take place on central routes: Nguyen Hue - Le Loi - Ben Thanh Central Station (Metro Line 1) - City Theater - September 23 Park - Bui Vien (District 1). The Vietnamese costume parade not only enhances the beauty of the young, dynamic, modern city but also shows the love, pride and support from individuals, organizations to State agencies for the preservation and development of culture and national identity.
Special features of "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" 2025: The first time the festival opens in spring, marking the 1,000-day journey milestone (June 2022 - March 2025); A grand parade with five-panel ao dai and traditional costumes - honoring the quintessence of Vietnamese culture; Connecting history and modernity, bringing the beauty of Vietnamese costumes closer to the public; Immersing yourself in the space of art, color and national pride in the heart of a youthful, vibrant city.
"Hundred Flowers Walk" is not only a cultural event, but also a bridge between the past and the present, helping the younger generation understand and appreciate traditional values. Let's put on the most beautiful traditional costumes, immerse ourselves in the cultural flow and spread national pride.
At the same time, the event is also part of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) of Ho Chi Minh City.
