Spending 3 years on her second studio album, Dear Min , Min "wrote" a letter to herself, to the sadness and darkness of the past.
The self-composed song Loser is a confession of a girl trapped in the darkness of depression. In the song "Isn't it first love, why does it hurt so much" by musician Kai Dinh, Min sings passionately: "Isn't it first love, why does it hurt so much? Why do I still love so madly? Why is my heart still naive? Still giving my all like that?"
Min is not as vibrant as before
After nearly a week of Min releasing the album Dear Min, her feelings are being welcomed and shared by the audience. The album includes 8 new songs, in the pop/ballad genre, from the composition team including Min, Khac Hung, Kai Dinh, Hoang Ton, Marzuz, Lu, RedT, Trid Minh, Changg, Khang (Chillies).
Previously, Min's music style was often vibrant with electronic music, suitable for big stages. But with this comeback, she surprised everyone when the album revealed the fragility and weakness of a girl who gradually grew up from her injuries.

Dear Min is a letter Min sends to herself and her fans. Listeners will join Min in looking back at the past and then gradually moving towards the future, starting with the intro Fragile and continuing with Too Late, Loser (feat Chillies), How Many Love Songs Must Be Written, Silent Mode, What's Hard for Me to Say, interlude ILYSMBIHTLYG , Isn't It First Love, Why Does It Hurt So Much (feat Dangrangto & Antransax), (Used to Be) Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Having You Is Home.
No pressure to follow popular trends
The album Dear Min includes only one MV, "(Used to be) Boyfriend, Girlfriend (released from May 12). All the remaining songs are made into visual stages - a series of stage videos staged with beautiful effects, fully conveying emotions.
She shared: "The songs in the album do not come from a perfect plan, but from moments when Min is honest with herself. Each song is like a slice of her journey of growing up, then arranged into a letter that Min wants to send to herself and to those who are listening.
Min hopes you find empathy in these lyrics and melodies, to know that you are not alone. If you are sad, let Min be sad with you."

Min put a lot of emotions and personal experiences into this album. With songs that carry so much emotion, she said she cannot act but must truly live in that emotion.
There were times when she had to stop, take a breath, and then continue. But that made the product more authentic. It was not just music, but a story.
For Min, the album Dear Min was a way for her to free herself from sadness and darkness. And when she went through all the layers of emotions inside, she found that the darkness was no longer scary.
Some audiences will find the album not too new or groundbreaking in Vietnamese music today, when there are too many mixed trends. But for Min, she does not put pressure on herself to follow popular trends. She chooses to be honest with her feelings because "newness does not necessarily come from trends, but from the way you see the world ".
