On the afternoon of October 28, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the ceremony to announce the decisions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee on personnel work.

Appointment of positions to the Secretary General of the National Assembly and 2 Committee Chairmen

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee announced decisions on personnel work.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Quang Manh, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office, was appointed to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Office for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Appoint Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Committee on Science , Technology and Environment, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee on Science, Technology and Environment for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Appoint Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Delegation Affairs Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Assign and appoint Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong to concurrently hold the position of Head of the National Assembly Party Organization Committee.

In his speech assigning tasks, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man congratulated the officials who were trusted in their new positions.

The National Assembly Chairman stated that on October 25, Mr. Le Quang Manh, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, and Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong were elected by the National Assembly to hold the positions of Secretary General of the National Assembly; Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; and Chairman of the Committee on Delegation Affairs with very high confidence.

The appointment of three officials to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the affiliated Party Committees, and the completion of the position of Head of the Party Committee's Organization Board demonstrates the close attention of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee to the work of organizing cadres, the work of Party building of the affiliated Party Committees, and the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee.

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that this is both an honor and a great responsibility for the officials.

Especially, when the whole country is entering the preparation stage for the 14th National Congress and preparing for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

He hopes that the officials who were given the decision today, with their extensive experience, when receiving new tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Central Committee, the National Assembly, and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, will continue to make efforts and promote their talent, intelligence, and courage to successfully complete their tasks.

Always innovate thinking, have many innovations in leadership and direction

The National Assembly Chairman requested the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office; Head of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Head of the Committee on Delegation Affairs to continue to lead and direct the units to organize and perform well the tasks in their assigned fields.

He stated that at the 10th session, the National Assembly will pass about 53 contents on legislative work, including 49 laws, so it is necessary to coordinate with Government agencies and National Assembly agencies to focus on verification, working and listening from many perspectives.

Ensure that any laws with differing opinions continue to be thoroughly discussed to reach consensus.

He hopes that the officials who were given decisions today will always renew their thinking and have many innovations in leadership and direction of their units in charge of carrying out assigned tasks.

Ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of the common tasks of the National Assembly, helping the National Assembly Party Committee complete the tasks assigned by the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.

On behalf of the officials, Chairman of the National Assembly Deputies' Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong affirmed that he will continue to make efforts, uphold the sense of responsibility, promote capacity and practical experience, and build a united, clean, strong, innovative and creative agency and unit.
