Prosecution of the subject who assaulted the security guard on the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien Metro train

On October 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency announced that it had decided to prosecute the case and prosecute PNVB (born in 2008, residing in Cau Ong Lanh ward) for the crime of "Disturbing public order" and applied an order prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence to continue investigating and clarifying.

Defendant PNVB is directly involved in the incident where a security guard was attacked on the Metro train (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) that happened earlier.

According to the initial investigation, at around 5:00 p.m. on October 26, on Metro train No. 1604 ST-BT departing from Suoi Tien Bus Station to Ben Thanh Station, when the train arrived at the High-Tech Park station, Mr. THNM (born in 2002, security guard on the train) reminded a female passenger, Ms. NTH (born in 1992, residing in Khanh Hoi ward) for putting her feet on the seat.

After the warning, two young men accompanying Ms. H., PNVB (2008) and NHTK (2010, both residing in Cau Ong Lanh ward) rushed in and assaulted Mr. M.

The incident was only stopped when the train stopped at Thu Duc station, thanks to the intervention of passengers and station staff. Immediately after that, the relevant parties were invited to work with the authorities.

Based on collected documents and evidence, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency has served procedural decisions on the defendant PNVB to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
