Taylor Swift's dominance shows no signs of abating as both her album The Life of a Showgirl and her song The Fate of Ophelia continue to hold the top spot on the two biggest US charts, Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100, for the third consecutive week.
According to Variety , Taylor Swift extended her reign as The Life of a Showgirl topped the Billboard 200 for a third week, with approximately 194,000 equivalent album units recorded by Luminate.
This is the female singer's 15th album to hold the No. 1 position, helping her continue to lead the list of female artists with the most number-one albums in Billboard history.
Meanwhile, the single "The Fate of Ophelia" held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100, marking its second consecutive week at this position.
As such, Taylor Swift is now the first artist in 2025 to simultaneously lead both major US charts for three consecutive weeks.
Songs from The Life of a Showgirl also dominated the Hot 100 top 10, including Opalite , Elizabeth Taylor , Father Figure , and Actually Romantic .
Critics say the album is a subtle combination of cinematic and narrative elements, expanding Taylor Swift's creative space beyond the traditional pop framework, but besides that, The Life of a Showgirl album also received a lot of controversy from music critics.

Olivia Dean, a British singer born in 1999, made an impression with the song " Man I Need", a sweet soul-pop song that reached #8 on the Hot 100. This achievement marked the first time she entered the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist.
The track garnered 14.3 million streams and 17 million radio plays in the tracking week, surpassing its previous No. 12 record since first entering the chart in September.
Meanwhile, American singer-songwriter Leon Thomas made his debut in the top 10 with his R&B and neo-soul track Mutt , which climbed to number 10 with 7 million streams and nearly 60 million radio plays.
Previously, he participated in writing and producing for In the Bible (Drake), Love All (Jay-Z & Drake) and Snooze (SZA).
