A bold idea, promising to attract millions of sympathetic hearts
Towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Revolutionary Dance Art (December 16, 1954 - December 16, 2025), the Vietnam Dance Artists Association launched a program to promote the popular dance "Hand in hand", a meaningful activity honoring the spirit of solidarity and the beauty of national dance art.
Hand in hand - Vietnam Dance Artists Association
Spreading the spirit of national unity through dance
According to Dr. People's Artist Pham Anh Phuong - President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, "Hand in hand" is not only a dance but also a strong message of connection, love and unity for a prosperous and happy Vietnam. The program was inspired by General Secretary To Lam 's article about the power of solidarity, expressing the spirit of "holding hands together" towards a new era of the nation.

Energetic young people actively participate in meaningful community projects
The activity aims to affirm the role of dance in contemporary social life - where every body movement becomes a symbol of solidarity and national pride.
38 branches nationwide dance together
The program is implemented in three phases, starting with the filming of the trailer and official promotional video of the Hand in Hand Dance, which is widely communicated on the Vietnam Dance Week 2025 website and digital platforms.
Next, 38 Vietnam Dance Artists Associations nationwide will simultaneously take on the "Video – Reels Challenge", recording creative versions of dances, associated with landscapes, heritages and cultural life typical of each region. Each video must demonstrate performing talent, the beauty of dance art, national spirit and high interaction with the public.
The Organizing Committee will select the best Video to award on the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Revolutionary Dance Arts, December 16, 2025 - as a tribute to generations of artists who have contributed to the country's dance arts.
When dance art blends with the public
The new point of the program is the strong spread on social networks through artists, associations and the public liking, sharing, and creating content to bring dance closer to young audiences. Through that, dance art is no longer just an academic stage but becomes a "common language" connecting the community.
The Vietnam Dance Artists Association hopes that "Hand in hand" will become a symbol of great solidarity, affirming the position of Vietnamese dance art in the flow of national culture and international integration.
