Winning the runner-up position at the AVC Women's Champions League 2025, VTV Binh Dien Long An was honored to be awarded the right to participate in the Women's Club World Championship organized by FIVB.
This is a great joy and pride not only for the women's volleyball team in the Southwest region but also for Vietnamese fans. For two consecutive years, two representatives of Vietnamese women's volleyball, LPBank Ninh Binh (2024) and VTV Binh Dien Long An (2025), took turns winning the Asian runner-up position, thereby winning a place to participate in the world championship.

However, less than 2 months before the tournament started, VTV Binh Dien Long An was forced to make a difficult choice. Because the tournament was held from December 8 to 14, it coincided with the time when the Vietnamese sports delegation attended the 33rd SEA Games - 2025 in Thailand. Up to 5 members will gather with the team to compete in Thailand, including head coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and 4 key athletes Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Le Nhu Anh, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Nguyen Khanh Dang, not to mention Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will return from Japan to join the team.
After consulting with the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, VTV Binh Dien Long An decided not to participate in the 2025 Women's Volleyball Club World Championship to create conditions for the Club members to perform their duties at the 33rd SEA Games. If VTV Binh Dien Long An still participates in the Women's Volleyball Club World Championship with the remaining force consisting of only young players, it will be difficult to compete on equal terms with the world's top strong teams.
Representatives of VTV Binh Dien Long An confirmed that they have completed the withdrawal from the 2025 Women's Volleyball Club World Championship and have been approved by FIVB.
