The first Autumn Fair in 2025, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , is opening up great opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to connect, find partners, and expand export markets.
The fair takes place from October 25 to November 4 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Hanoi), assigned by the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to chair, coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee and other ministries, branches and localities.
The fair is a national-scale economic and cultural event, not only a large trading meeting place but also a space to honor Vietnamese cultural values, connecting the quintessence of production, creativity and integration.
Right from the first days, many export enterprises’ booths at the fair attracted a large number of visitors and buyers. Participating enterprises clearly expressed their expectations of finding new importers and establishing a network of distribution partners in potential markets.
At the fair, many businesses from the fields of agricultural products, seafood, processed foods, beverages, consumer goods, supporting industries, and handicrafts brought high-quality products that met export standards, including many products certified with 4-star and 5-star OCOP standards and ISO, HACCP, and GlobalGAP standards.
According to many business representatives, the difference of the Autumn Fair is the methodical, professional and effective way of doing things by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Trade Promotion Agency. Instead of just stopping at exhibition activities, this year's fair will be organized in the direction of connecting effectively and long-term.
According to Mr. Dang Huu Kien - Senior Advisor of Vietnam Seafood Corporation, in recent times, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been very methodical, connecting before, during and after the fair, helping sellers reach buyers, and the parties continue to maintain cooperation after the event. This creates sustainability for trade promotion activities, opening up a long-term development direction for Vietnamese enterprises.
Mr. Kien believes that the most important thing is to maintain trade promotion fairs periodically, helping businesses and consumers have the opportunity to meet and connect regularly. Then, not only will domestic consumption be expanded, but Vietnam's seafood exports will also grow stronger and more sustainably.
It can be said that the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is not only a place to display products but also promotes multi-dimensional trade, connecting manufacturers - distributors - importers - consumers. Through the event, Vietnamese enterprises clearly demonstrate the spirit of proactive integration, aiming to standardize products, improve production - processing - export capacity, meeting the increasingly high demands of the international market.

Mr. Kien expects: "If trade promotion fairs are held regularly and annually, Vietnamese enterprises will gradually form the habit of connecting, proactively seeking opportunities and building strong Vietnamese brands in the world market."
Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quan, Director of MERCI Vietnam Food Production and Service Company Limited, highly appreciated the role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in supporting and accompanying businesses in recent times.
"As a business, we are very grateful to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for creating a practical playground through the Autumn Fair. The Ministry's support in terms of location, funding and opportunities to interact with consumers is an important stepping stone to help businesses like us develop more strongly in the future," said Mr. Nguyen Duc Quan.
