Notably, the effective implementation of three breakthroughs in the spirit of the 13th National Women's Congress: Building a strong grassroots organization; innovating operating methods associated with digital transformation and promoting gender equality, enhancing economic empowerment for women.

Following the direction of the superior association and the Commune Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Lam Thuong Commune proactively improved the organization, consolidated 31 branches with 3,380 members, the attraction rate reached 75%; 100% of branches completed their tasks well; over 90% of staff were trained in professional skills, knowing how to apply information technology in management.

All levels of the association encourage each member to mobilize at least one new woman to join the association; each branch president recommends an outstanding member to the Party for training and admission.

This specific and practical approach helps strengthen grassroots organizations, improve the quality of branch activities, and create a source of Party development from the women's movement.

In the context of digital transformation having a profound impact on all fields, the Women's Union of Lam Thuong commune shows its acumen and innovation in applying digital technology to management and propaganda work.

33 Zalo and Facebook groups of the Executive Committee and branches have become fast and effective information channels, helping the Party and State's policies and guidelines reach members promptly and accurately.

100% of branch presidents know how to use social networks in association work; over 70% of members participate in at least one digital service such as: electronic payment, online public services or online product promotion.

The Association also guides women to promote OCOP products such as bamboo shoots, green rice, Lao Mu sticky rice, and Lam Thuong duck on e-commerce platforms, contributing to expanding the market and gradually integrating local agricultural products into the digital economy.

Along with digital transformation, the organization focuses on making breakthroughs in promoting gender equality and enhancing women's economic empowerment.

Through credit programs with the Social Policy Bank, the association at all levels has supported 572 households with loans of more than 36 billion VND; mobilized members to save nearly 1 billion VND as revolving capital to help each other develop production. The whole commune currently has 27 effective economic models for women, many of which generate incomes of 150 - 250 million VND per year.

Ms. Pham Thi Lien, a member of the Women's Union of Lam Thuong commune, shared: Thanks to the Union's support, many women have risen up to develop their economy, have more jobs, stable income and better conditions to take care of their children's education.

Along with economic development, social security work, preserving cultural identity and building new rural areas are always focused on by the association to be implemented synchronously and effectively.

The movements: "5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean" have been widely deployed, becoming important criteria contributing to changing the face of rural mountainous areas.

Up to now, the women's union at all levels in the commune has 2,600 member households meeting the criteria of "5 no, 3 clean"; the whole commune has built 9 flower roads 4.5 km long and 11 "Lighting up the countryside roads" routes, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people.

Along with that, the “Godmother” Program has taken care of and supported 45 orphans; disaster relief activities, helping women in difficult circumstances stabilize their lives are maintained regularly, spreading the spirit of compassion and sharing widely in the community.

Notably, Lam Thuong women are increasingly asserting their position in political and social life. The percentage of women participating in Party committees is 18%, and female representatives of the People's Council of the commune account for 38.5% - these numbers demonstrate the maturity in political capacity, leadership capacity and sense of civic responsibility of women in the highlands in the new period.

The results achieved can affirm that the Women's Union of Lam Thuong commune has been flexibly adapting to the requirements of the integration and digital transformation period, becoming a bright spot in the province's grassroots association system.
