Continuously "selling out" and attracting thousands of audiences every day, the Cinema Industry section at the 2025 Autumn Fair has become a brilliant highlight in the space of "Cultural Industry - Quintessence of Vietnamese Culture".

A series of large film units, such as: Department of Cinema, National Cinema Center, Vietnam Animation Studio, Beta Group and many businesses operating in the fields of production, distribution and related services have jointly created a modern, vibrant designed space, both imbued with Vietnamese identity and keeping up with the trends of the world entertainment industry.

From the very beginning, the cinema area was always crowded with audiences. Long lines of people waited eagerly to receive free tickets to see the two films "Red Rain" and "Fighting in the Sky". Tickets were issued in two forms: 50% directly at the counter and 50% via the phimrap.vn application with a total of about 500 to 600 tickets per day, often sold out within a few minutes of opening registration.

The atmosphere in the screening room on the 3rd floor, hall 6 of the Autumn Fair Center is always bustling. There are about 5 screenings per day with a capacity of 100 seats per room. Although the temporary space is set up in the fairground, the quality of sound, image and light is still highly appreciated, creating the feeling of sitting in a real cinema.

"Red Rain" and "Air Deathmatch" both have profound content, closely linked to national history. That is what makes viewers feel emotional and proud. Of which, "Red Rain" has ended its theatrical run, but the "rain" of emotions has not stopped in the hearts of viewers.

In particular, the appearance of the cast of the movie "Red Rain" at the cinema booth made this area even more exciting. The audience had the opportunity to interact, take photos, sign autographs, and share behind-the-scenes footage of the film. These simple, warm meetings brought the audience and the artists closer together.

In addition to the movie screening activities, the Cinema Industry area is also designed as a miniature ecosystem of the Vietnamese cinema industry. From the ticket counter, check-in area with movie posters, souvenir booths, to the cinema-style food stalls, all contribute to creating a complete experience.

Audiences can buy or receive small gifts, such as: key chains, T-shirts, postcards printed with images of famous Vietnamese film characters... Each product is a souvenir, a memory... also a way to spread the image of Vietnamese films to the public.

Another interesting highlight is the cinema food court, which helps audiences enjoy snacks and chat about the movie while watching. The atmosphere is familiar like being in a cinema, but more intimate and open, allowing viewers to extend their emotions with the cinema space.

Notably, the National Cinema Center has introduced an automatic ticket vending system, allowing viewers to choose movies, screenings, pay, and receive e-tickets. This is an important step in the digital transformation of Vietnamese cinema, contributing to "greening" the operating process and improving customer experience.

Ms. Du Thuy Linh, Deputy Head of the Center's Service and Communications Department, said: "We want the audience to see the image of the National Cinema Center as a pioneering cinema in digital transformation, keeping up with the 4.0 trend, moving towards a modern, dynamic and integrated film industry."

In addition to feature films, Vietnam Animation Studio also creates a colorful world of childhood in the cinema area. Here, more than 40 latest animated films are selected, diverse in theme and form, bringing children meaningful entertainment moments.

Works such as: "The Flying Snail", "The Red-Nosed Cat Warrior", "The Golden Calf Knight" or "The Warm Lamp", "The Broken Chicken Feather"... all contain messages of humanity, courage, friendship and dreams. Many young audiences sat attentively watching, shouting with joy when their favorite characters appeared.

The prominent appearance of cinema at the 2025 Autumn Fair is a concrete manifestation of the policy of building and developing cultural industries to become new economic drivers in the spirit of Resolution 23-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The movie "Air Battle" will be screened for free at the 2025 Fall Fair.

Cinema, which is considered a "comprehensive art", is now being linked with tourism, fashion, media, technology, cuisine, etc., creating a chain of cultural and economic values full of potential. The fact that Beta Group, the National Cinema Center, the Cinema Department and film studios are working together in the same space demonstrates the spirit of creative connection, technological exchange and market development.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao Huy, Beta Group Regional Manager in the Cinema Industry division, shared: "We are implementing a free movie screening program to thank the audience and at the same time introduce new services. In addition to the two films 'Red Rain' and 'Air Death Battle', we also introduce the 2026 Tet movie project - 'Smell of Pho'. Hopefully it will be well received by audiences nationwide."

The increasing number of visitors and the early sale of tickets are positive signs, showing that the Vietnamese public is increasingly paying attention and supporting domestic films. This confirms that Vietnamese cinema is gradually asserting its position in the hearts of viewers, while opening a new direction for the Vietnamese cultural industry.

The cinema space at the 2025 Autumn Fair is considered a model for combining art-technology-commerce-experience towards the common goal: bringing cinema closer to the public, turning movie watching into a cultural journey.

The steps of booking tickets online, checking in, enjoying movies, interacting, buying souvenirs... make each audience member a part of the complete cinema experience chain. If this model is replicated, it can create a foundation for Vietnamese cinema to develop on a wider scale outside of theaters, spreading more strongly in social life.

Along with creating cultural value, the event also brings clear economic value. Many film businesses have had the opportunity to promote products and services, expand markets, and reach new customers. New business models such as smart cinemas, electronic ticket services, and film souvenir products have initially proven their feasibility in practice.
