Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society organized the first advanced model conference

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the emulation movements of the Provincial Red Cross Society have been deployed and developed more and more widely, contributing significantly to the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the province. Red Cross societies at all levels have mobilized to help more than 1.5 million people with a total value of more than 544 billion VND. Of which, social work reached a value of nearly 415 billion VND, helping more than 1 million people; disaster prevention and response work reached nearly 21 billion VND, helping more than 72,000 people; health care work reached a value of nearly 66 billion VND, helping nearly 424,000 people; mobilized and received nearly 139,800 units of blood, worth nearly 42 billion VND...

Comrade Tran Thu Mai awarded certificates of merit from the Prime Minister to individuals.

At the conference, 3 individuals received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister; the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the association's patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025. The conference also approved a list of 6 delegates to attend the 5th Patriotic Congress of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Thu Mai highly appreciated the achievements of the Red Cross at all levels. He suggested that the association continue to coordinate with the Fatherland Front and member organizations to build a close coordination mechanism in action programs; promote propaganda, education and replication of typical examples through digital platforms and social networks to promote emulation movements. At the same time, strengthen cooperation with businesses, international organizations and overseas Vietnamese to diversify resources, ensure sustainable and effective humanitarian activities; proactively participate in developing disaster response plans, and provide timely support to compatriots...
