| Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and city leaders inspected the field work to overcome landslides on the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway due to prolonged heavy rain and floods. |
On the La Son – Hoa Lien expressway, technical forces identified many landslide locations with large volumes of soil and rocks spilling onto the road surface, causing congestion and potential traffic safety risks. The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to cordon off and urgently divert traffic, and immediately mobilize machinery and human resources to fix the problem, ensuring safe and smooth traffic flow.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized: "Response work must be given the highest priority, ensuring the safety of people's lives and the smooth flow of vital traffic."
Mr. Tran Hong Ha directed the People's Committee of Hue City to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to monitor areas at risk of further landslides, especially at mountain passes, high slopes, spillways and culverts.
Emphasizing that there may be heavy rains and deep water accumulation in the coming time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the authorities to immediately check the status of telecommunications, electricity and urban traffic infrastructure, ensure communication, power supply and support for people in deeply flooded areas in all emergency situations.
