Green Technology Driver Day - honoring green car drivers

This is an initiative proposed by Xanh SM to honor electric vehicle drivers - those who have made hundreds of millions of green trips each year, contributing to reducing hundreds of thousands of tons of _CO2 emissions into the environment.

SM Green Leadership Board announced the Decision to establish the Green Technology Driver Response Day.

Xanh SM is also the organizer of a series of events to announce and celebrate the first Green Technology Driver Day in 3 regions: Hanoi (April 2), Da Nang (April 9), Ho Chi Minh City (April 14) with special activities to honor and express gratitude to the driver community.

The highlight is the Green Awards 2025 Ceremony, honoring outstanding individuals in 5 categories: Excellent Green Driver - for 100 drivers with outstanding achievements according to sales, customer ratings and trip acceptance rate; Green Fire Keeper - drivers who have been with the company since its inception and always inspire and train the next generation of drivers; Green Creator - drivers who create many excellent contents that are in the top views and have the meaning of spreading green lifestyle on the Green Creator platform; Green Hero - drivers who take practical actions for the community; and Green Inspiration - awards for children of drivers from 4-15 years old, participating in talent, art and photography competitions. The total value of this year's awards is up to nearly 400 million VND.

The Green Technology Driver Response Day was held for the first time in Hanoi.

The event is also an opportunity for the nationwide driver community to exchange, share experiences and update career development trends in the field of technology transportation. This is also part of Xanh SM's long-term orientation to build a comprehensive career ecosystem for drivers, from skills training, technology support to improving income and building a development roadmap.

Expressing gratitude for the silent contributions of the Green Driver team, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company said: “Technology drivers are not simply vehicle operators, providing dedicated services to customers, but also an important factor in the process of green transportation transformation, spreading green lifestyle in the community. The Green Technology Driver Response Day is a meaningful activity to honor and shape a profession that creates many values ​​for society”.

After two years of operation, Xanh SM has become a familiar green transportation choice for people nationwide, with its presence in 61 provinces and cities, making millions of trips that do not emit _CO2 every day. This success is contributed by more than 100,000 “Green Technology Drivers” - pioneers in changing the community's travel habits.

The initiative to implement the Green Technology Driver Day continues to affirm the pioneering and leading role of Xanh SM in the green transportation revolution in Vietnam, while demonstrating its commitment to accompany and develop sustainably with the driver community.
