Recently, high school students from schools in Hoi An City participated in the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2024. The contest was organized by the Center for Culture, Information and Communication in coordination with the Hoi An City Youth Union, as part of a series of activities in response to the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2024 in Hoi An.

At the contest, students participate in storytelling, presenting or reenacting the content of a story or their favorite character in a good, age-appropriate work that they have read, combining storytelling and presentation with music and animation.

Through that, 10 good works of domestic and foreign authors and meaningful stories were introduced to readers. This is also an interesting playground for students and at the same time contributes to building habits and promoting the movement of reading, self-study and self-research for students.

Huynh Nguyen Tuong Vi, a student at Tran Quy Cap High School, Hoi An City, said: “I am very happy to participate in this contest because I get to meet and interact with students in the city. On this occasion, I would like to introduce the work “Rainbow Warrior” by author Andrea Hirata with the message that always striving, the desire to learn and education will bring happiness and be the path to success.”
