The 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day in Vinh Phuc

On the morning of February 9, at Tran Phu High School (Vinh Yen), Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts Association in collaboration with Tran Phu High School solemnly organized the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day, Spring At Ty 2025 and the discussion "Vietnamese Poetry 50 years after the country's reunification" (1975 - 2025).

Attending the event were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of provincial departments, branches and organizations; former provincial leaders; Associate Professor, PhD, musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations ; researchers, literary theorists and critics, poets, writers; members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and a large number of poetry lovers.

With the theme “Flying Fatherland”, the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day in Vinh Phuc brought a unique cultural space. The authors put their thoughts and feelings into each verse, praising the beauty of the homeland, the country, the people of Vietnam in general, and the land and people of Vinh Phuc in particular.

In addition, the discussion "Vietnamese Poetry 50 years after the country's reunification" attracted the attention of many poets, researchers, theorists and critics such as Professor, PhD Nguyen Duc Ninh; Associate Professor, PhD Nguyen Van Dan; Associate Professor, PhD, Major General, People's Teacher Hoang Trung Kien; Associate Professor, PhD Ngo Van Gia; Associate Professor, PhD Nguyen Linh Khieu; Writer, screenwriter Ha Dinh Can; Writer Ha Pham Phu; Colonel, poet Mai Nam Thang...

Delegates exchanged and shared multi-dimensional perspectives on the development of Vietnamese poetry over the past 50 years; the work of promoting and widely spreading the value of Vietnamese poetry to international friends; at the same time, they also looked at the challenges and opportunities in the future when we are entering the digital age and the emergence of artificial intelligence AI.

50 outstanding poems were selected and released into the sky during the poetry release ceremony.

In addition to the traditional fire lighting ceremonies, the national flag salute and the poetry flag raising ceremony, the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day also includes activities such as poetry and music exchanges and performances; giving calligraphy at the beginning of spring, portrait sketching... This is not only an event that contributes to bringing poetry into deeper integration with life; continuing to affirm the position and role of literature and art in the cause of building and protecting the homeland and country, but also an opportunity for everyone to review the cultural traditions of the nation, look back to be more proud of the development path of Vietnamese poetry over the past 50 years.

50 outstanding poems selected by the Organizing Committee from the works of poets and authors who are members of the Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts Association and members of the Vietnam Writers Association were released into the sky in the poetry release ceremony, concluding the activities of the Vietnamese Poetry Day in the Spring of At Ty in Vinh Phuc, carrying beautiful aspirations about life, about the values ​​of truth - goodness - beauty that poetry aims for.
