TTH.VN - A large number of people and tourists watched the Ceremony to honor the founders of all crafts and the Procession to honor artisans, craftsmen and traditional crafts taking place on the afternoon of May 5 at Tu Tuong Park, on the banks of the Huong River, Hue City.

The ceremony began at 5:00 p.m. in the courtyard inside Tu Tuong Park with a solemn and respectful atmosphere and was performed by famous artisans: Tran Duy Mong (goldsmith), Nguyen Van Sinh (bronze casting) and Hoang Ngoc Tuyen (parasol making).

Around, other artisans in traditional ao dai watched attentively, waiting to offer incense.

When the ceremony ended, hundreds of artisans joined the procession with the ceremonial team, umbrellas, parasols, tablets and a grand orchestra.

From Tu Tuong Park, the colorful procession moves along Le Loi Street - across Truong Tien Bridge - Tran Hung Dao Street (riverside) - Phu Xuan Bridge - Le Loi Street and ends in front of Quoc Hoc School.

In addition to pedestrians, the procession also included cyclos decorated with lotus flowers to transport veteran artisans and representatives of craft villages. The procession also included dozens of women in traditional ao dai holding kites, creating a beautiful, friendly image on the streets.

Wherever the procession passed, many people stood on both sides of the road to welcome it, creating an impressive festival atmosphere in the heart of Hue city.
