Mr. Tran Cong Quynh - the person responsible for the art design of the festival program - said: At the beginning of the Resurrection Ceremony, in the bustling sound of lion dance drums, thousands of tourists and local people lined up following the elders of Nui Sam ward and the leaders of An Giang province to respectfully offer incense at the Temple of the Lady of Sam Mountain, the Martyrs' Stele House and carry out the rituals of carrying the statue of the Lady of Sam Mountain from the top of Sam Mountain to the Temple (where the statue of the Lady is located at the foot of Sam Mountain, in Nui Sam ward, Chau Doc city).

Realizing the importance of protecting heritage with the motto of creating conditions for tourists and people to participate, gradually bringing the Festival of Lady of Sam Mountain back to the community, in addition to the ceremony of carrying the statue of Lady, the festival also has other special rituals, such as: The ceremony of bathing Lady at 12:00 pm (April 23rd of the lunar calendar); the ceremony of inviting the decree of Thoai Ngoc Hau from the tomb to the Lady's Temple; the ceremony of Tuc Yet, the ceremony of Xay Chau; the ceremony of Chanh Te; the ceremony of Returning the decree of Thoai Ngoc Hau from the Na Temple to the tomb, etc.

Notably, among the artists and artisans participating in the procession of the Lady's statue, there is also artist Hoang Son, who will recreate the image of Thoai Ngoc Hau - Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Envoy of the Upper Dao, General Nguyen Van Thoai. "He is considered to have made great contributions to the procession of pacification and expansion of the territory during the Nguyen Dynasty. He was not only an outstanding mandarin, but also an excellent businessman, with strategic projects. I am very honored to portray his image in the procession of the Lady of Sam Mountain. In 2014, the Sam Mountain Lady Festival was included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Currently, the Festival has been recognized by the United NationsEducational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
