
The exhibition is organized by Gwangyang City Cultural Center in coordination with Hoi An City Culture - Sports and Radio - Television Center.
The exhibition introduces to the public 20 artworks by 10 talented female artists from Gwangyang city with themes of nature, culture and people of Korea.
The exhibition is part of the “Art Holiday” project through cooperation between the two cities to create conditions for Korean artists to introduce their artworks in Hoi An; at the same time, visit, experience, create and interact with artists in Hoi An.

The exhibition is also an opportunity to showcase the image of Hoi An as a land of cultural exchange and acculturation and a “Creative Home” - where artists from all over the world come to seek inspiration and creativity. Thereby contributing to enhancing understanding and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea.
The exhibition runs until May 27. Works created by artists about Hoi An during this time will also be displayed in Korea.

Gwangyang City is a representative industrial and economic city of Korea with the largest international commercial port in the country and the world's largest single steel mill.
This is a locality blessed by nature and has rich cultural and artistic resources including traditional culture, handicrafts and fine arts. With many similarities, Hoi An and Gwangyang are gradually exploring and building a cooperative relationship together.
